Who Are They?
It doesn't take that long to become an ancien pilote. Or at least one with silver hair or a plump middle-aged face. Who are they? Extra Credit: which one is lucky to have reached middle-age, and why?
Mansell broke his back, in F-3, I think, before he got a F-1 ride. Then there was that nearly head-on into the wall at Suzuka in his F-1 Williams in practice. Definitely paid his dues in the "near brush with death" department.
