| The sound that comes out of those pipes at 6000 r.p.m.+ is glorious. I believe John Wyer said in his memoirs that the Wyer-Gulf colors came straight out of Triumph's paint codes for Spitfires. The screaming orange was called Marigold. |

That's a mighty fine piece.
Don't know if it's a 2.3, or ++, or what. Didn't get to talk to the owner. It GOES like a 3.0+ and revs like little one... A reason to go back next year (to find out). Last Blackhawk post of that BP Corvette-eating Sunbeam Tiger tomorrow.
