The Squire has always seemed to me the ultimate refinement of the lines of the pre-war sports car. Having, of course, never seen one in the flesh. ;-) The hood line is almost as low as the crowns of the fenders, the grille is raked and behind the centerline of the front wheels, the placement of the headlights is just right, and there are no bumpers.
