I was never good at simulations, and probably never will be. I learned to get feedback from real physics in a metal machine - I cannot interpret video cues, at all. Oh well. At least I'm OK with being mediocre in both worlds. I know my limitations.
A decade or more ago, my son offered to make a present to me of a very elegant racing video game. I waved him off. Three years ago I discovered the Dragon. Who needs video games?
That Tiff guy should have driven my GMC truck to help get him used to no steering feedback from the Xbox controller, lol.
